JBPU Board Meeting

All meetings are open to the public. Public comments may be made at the opening of each official Board meeting, but not at work sessions.

Metal Recycling Week: No heavy or scrap metals.

Metal Recyclables include tin, aluminum food & beverage containers. Heavy or Scrap metals should be taken to a scrap metal recycling center.

Yard Waste Site Closed Saturday 6/3/23

Plastic Recycling-no styrofoam, no plastic bags,

Plastic Recycling is for plastic jugs, containers, and bottles; no styrofoam, no plastic bags, no k-cups, no straw, no thin plastic takeout containers, straws, cutlery or lids.

Corrugated Cardboard & Box Board (such as cereal boxes); No Paper

*Flatten all boxes and place in a recycling container, similar sized container or cardboard box.. *Discard all packing material if not cardboard *No take-out containers or pizzeria boxes. Place in regular garbage.

Paper Recycling Week: No Gift wrap, tissues/napkins, boxes or hard-covered books

Paper recyclables may include newspapers, office paper, fliers, junk mail, envelopes, paper bags, post cards, or soft-covered books. Please do not include gift wrap, dirty or contaminated paper, tissues, napkins, or hard-covered books in your recycling bin.
