BPU's 20th Annual Cents for St. Susan's Campaign Raises $19,465 for Soup Kitchen

Sponsors & Volunteers meet to announce $19,465 raised for St. Susan Center by BPU employees.

The BPU announced a total of $19,465 raised for annual Cents for St. Susan's Fund Drive to help our local soup kitchen.   Over 20 years, the BPU has raised a total of $234,956 for the soup kitchen.

Major sponsors of the drive include: KeyBank, Kwik-Fill, Judy & Steve McAllaster, Alfie's Restaurant, Boyles Motor Sales, Century 21/Turner Brokers, Chautauqua Chemicals So., Inc., Falconer Printing & Design, Inc., FreedMaxick Accountants, Heritage Ministries, The Legend Group with Lou Deppas, National Fuel, Northwest Bank, Shults Auto Group, Slone-Melhuish Insurance, Weinberg Financial Group, and Wright, Wright and Hampton, Attorneys.  The Jamestown Post-Journal and Media One Radio Group were media sponsors.

St. Susan Executive Director Bonny Scott-Sleight thanked the BPU for its efforts to help local people by raising funds for St. Susan Center.  "Each year, we see our number of guests rising and we must seek ways to feed our increased number of visitors.  Luckily for us, groups in the community such as the BPU find different ways to assist us throughout the year.  The BPU drive provides a sizeable boost to our budget each year and we thank them."
