Utility Disconnects Resume October 6, 2020

BPU disconnection of services resumes on October 6, 2020, as explained in a letter now being mailed to customers in their billing statement envelopes.  Disconnections were to have started on September 9, but were delayed as a result of the New York State of Emergency extension.  Read the letter here.

Customers who are in danger of service disconnection are encouraged to contact the Customer Service Office at 661-1660 to arrange for payment agreements. Customers also are urged to apply for assistance with overdue bills to avoid disconnection.  Where to seek assistance on utility bills.
