- Grant T. Olson
Grant T. Olson was elected as Jamestown Ward 5 City Councilman in November, 2019, and began service on City Council in 2020. Jamestown Mayor Edward A. Sundquist appointed Olson to the Board of Public Utilities (BPU) as a City Council Representative in 2020.
Olson grew up in Jamestown and is a 2005 Jamestown High School graduate. Following high school, he graduated from Jamestown Community College (JCC) where he earned his Business Administration Associates degree and was elected class vice president.
In addition to his seat on City Council, Olson is a member of the Norden Club Board of Directors. Previously, he volunteered on the Board of Directors of The Relief Zone and as a member of the Elks Lodge House Committee.
Upon graduation from JCC, Olson was employed in local corporations as controller and in purchasing before returning to work in his family business, Axiom Business Machines. He now serves as General Manager of the Jamestown company.
Olson is married and lives in Jamestown with his wife Kristin. The couple are the parents of a daughter.
