Recycling Enhancement Task Force

The overall objective of the BPU Solid Waste Division is to provide low-cost, reliable solid waste service to the area, while promoting recycling efforts to maintain a healthy, aesthetically pleasing community environment.

As part of the objective, the BPU has formed its Recycling Enhancement Task Force, made up of Jamestown residents who volunteer to encourage recycling in the BPU's Solid Waste District. The group meets twice a year.

Members include:

• Greg Moran, Jamestown City Housing Inspector
• Tracy Pierce, Solid Waste Analyst, Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities
• Wendy Sanfillipo, Cornell Cooperative Extension
• Richard Steinman, Energy Manager, Jamestown Public Schools
• Roseann Himes, BPU Sanitation Supervisor
• Rebecca Robbins, BPU Communications Coordinator
