Plastic Guidelines

PLEASE REMOVE AND THROW AWAY ALL LIDS AND CAPS. They are not made of the same type of plastic that is recycled and will contaminate the recyclable load.

Soda bottles should be checked for NY State bottle deposit markings and placed in the recycling load only if there is no deposit to be reclaimed.

All plastic containers marked with the symbols below are considered recyclable and should be washed clean.
