Cardboard Guidelines

Corrugated cardboard consists of two pieces of heavy paper (usually brown) with a wavy layer in between. Moving and mailing boxes are usually corrugated cardboard NOT cereal and shirt boxes.

Corrugated cardboard will be picked up at the curb. Cardboard should be flattened, folded and placed in the yellow container, or if too large, placed in a cardboard box next to the yellow container containing the glass recyclables.

PIZZA BOXES ARE CONSIDERED DIRTY AND SHOULD BE BROKEN DOWN AND PUT IN REGULAR GARBAGE BAGS.
