Fifty customers representing a cross-section of businesses, industries, churches, schools, housing facilities and not for profit agencies now use approximately 16 megawatts thermal (approx. 55mmBTU/hr) of district heating power. Maximum capacity of the system is 30 megawatts thermal. More than 11 miles of twin pipes insulated with polyurethane form and coated with polyethylene are buried in 5.5 miles of trench.
