Energy Depot is a free and convenient way to increase your home's energy efficiency and find answers to energy questions. The BPU Energy Depot^® for Homes is based on BPU electrical rates.

• An online, do-it-yourself, password protected home energy audit that gives you a personalized report on your home's annual energy use and cost of each energy system and major appliance in your home. It also provides personalized recommendations on ways you can lower your energy use and costs.
• An energy library that gives home energy information in easy-to-understand terms and illustrations as well as the answers to the top 100 frequently asked questions about home energy use.
• A comparison tool that lets you easily compare energy use, cost and potenial savings for alternative new or replacement heating and air conditioning systems, water heating equipment or lighting.
• An energy savings calculator that shows you how much it costs to operate electric or gas appliances.
• An e-mail link to a BPU Energy Advisor who can answer questions about energy efficiency or about your personal home energy audit report.
