Carl Pillittieri

Carl P. Pillittieri has served as a member of the Board of Public Utilities since April, 2004. Reappointed to the Board in 2008, his current term will expire on December 31, 2011.

Mr. Pillittieri has more than twenty years of combined management experience in sales, production, operations, quality control, environmental compliance, and safety and team development. He is employed as Director of School Facility Operations, Jamestown City School District.

A Jamestown native, Pillittieri graduated from Jamestown High School in 1983 and earned an A.A.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from SUNY Alfred State College of Technology in Alfred, NY and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Rochester, NY. He is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).

Carl and his wife Polly, Business Development Executive for SYSCO Food Services of Jamestown, are the parents of a daughter, Sarah.

Mr. Pillittieri serves the BPU Board as Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee.
